Bella and DiDi: Plan and hope for the best.

Recently, we concocted a plan to pillage a box of Cheerios the humans left out on the counter.

DiDi was on the lookout in case a human came into the kitchen. Bella was responsible for getting the box of whole grain goodness off the counter. Then it would be snack time!

We strategized over our breakfast kibble and decided this was a great plan. All of a sudden…it happened!

                             Mommy did you need something?

Mommy caught us in action.

This reminded us that you can have the most flawless plan in the works but sometimes things just don’t pan out. When the plan fails, return to a regular duty or activity and adjust your strategy.

After mommy caught us, we regrouped with our chew toys. Later that day, we savored some cheese and crackers before dinner. Victory!

Tell us how you have altered your plans in life.

  1. Hi Bella and DiDi,

Sorry it didn’t work out with the Cheerios, but glad to hear Plan B paid off!! I’ve learnt that the Art (Yes it’s and Art) of Mischief requires that it’s good to have a Plan B – cos the humans can be very unpredictable!! Tee Hee

    Hope you’re having a fun day 🙂

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  2. Bella and DiDi, I’m back! I have missed you! Roxy and I were on summer break in Spain but have recently joined the blogosphere once again. You see, the Internet connection wasn’t what we thought it would be this year! I’m happy to read that you ladies are well and happy even if your breakfast kibble plan wasn’t successful! Thank goodness for sweet mommies and cheese and crackers! Hugs to both of you from Roxy and me! 🙂

    • Hi Bella and Roxy!
It is so nice to hear from you! The past couple of weeks we have been missing in action too. The humans have kept us busy. We hope you had a fantastic summer break. We missed you too!
      Looking forward to catching up!

      Bella and DiDi

  3. I am always on the quest for more treats. I will often growl or lunge menacingly at my kitty brother when he leaps over the baby gate in the kitchen because I know when he goes into that room he often gets treats.

I have learned that when I behave in that manner I get nothing. So, I often alter my plan and “sit like a gentleman” and wait for my treat instead of lunging into action.

Barks and licks and love, Dakota

  4. Epic Fail, girls. Cheerios are my favorite!

I never make plans, so I never have to make changes. I call it flexibility. Mom says I’m a loose cannon. That’s a good thing… right?

    Love and licks,

Talk to us! We're listening.
